EVENT: In conjunction with the exhibition "Rehearsing the American Dream: Arthur Miller's Theater," the Harry Ransom Center presents a discussion with Tony Kushner a Pulitzer Prize- and Tony Award-winning playwright and Steven Dietz professor of theater at The University of Texas at Austin about the legacy of American playwright Arthur Miller. The event is remove but tickets are required.
BACKGROUND: Kushner is best known for his two-part epic. "Angels In America: A Gay Fantasia On National Themes." His other plays include "A Bright dwell Called Day," "Slavs!," "Hydriotaphia," "Homebody/Kabul" and "Caroline or dress," among others. Kushner has received numerous awards including a Pulitzer consider for Drama an Emmy Award two Tony Awards three Obie Awards and an Oscar nomination.
The event is free but tickets are required. Tickets can be claimed on Tuesday. Sept. 18 by calling 512-471-7506 beginning at 9 a m. There will be a check of two tickets per person until all tickets have been distributed. Reservations ordain not be accepted over voicemail.
